Why we built it

Finding reliable answers about Dynamics 365 F&O can take longer than expected. The solution is often scattered between Microsoft Learn documentation, community blog posts from years ago, and a Teams message from someone who once solved a similar issue. The Architect GPT is our experiment in navigating that knowledge faster: it combines official documentation, development guidance, and implementation best practices in one assistant.

Who it’s for

Anyone working with D365 F&O, including:

  • Solution and technical architects
  • Functional consultants
  • Developers working with X++
  • Project managers
  • Key users and administrators

What you can ask it

  • How standard frameworks work in D365
  • Architecture and integration design considerations
  • Configuration questions across Finance and Supply Chain modules
  • X++ development concepts and extensibility patterns
  • Troubleshooting common Dynamics behaviours
  • Implementation best practices inspired by FastTrack guidance

What it is — and isn’t

The GPT is not a replacement for experience or community discussions. It is a quick way to explore ideas, validate assumptions, and navigate the large amount of documentation available around Dynamics 365. Treat its answers as a starting point, not a sign-off.

Help make it better

Community feedback shapes the assistant. If you try it, tell us what worked well, where it gave incorrect or incomplete answers, and what additional capabilities would make it more useful — get in touch.
