E-invoicing mandate checker
In short
Tell us where your entities are and what you invoice, and this page works out which European e-invoicing and e-reporting obligations apply to you, when each one starts, and what that means inside Dynamics 365 F&O. It currently covers 31 countries in full, each fact carrying its own source and the date we last checked it. Free, no sign-up.
1 Where do you operate?
Two different questions, because they produce two different obligations.
Countries where you have a legal entity
VAT-registered and invoicing locally. These trigger e-invoicing mandates.
Countries where you charge local VAT without an entity
Only a few countries impose anything on businesses with no local establishment — this list is filtered to those. Not sure? Leave it blank and we will mark those countries as not assessed rather than guess.
2 How big are the entities?
Only the questions your selected countries actually use to decide an obligation. Answers apply across your entities; where sizes differ, use the largest.
3 What do you invoice?
Scope varies sharply by transaction type — public-sector invoicing is already mandatory in most of Europe.
4 What are you running?
Shapes the Dynamics 365 answer at the end.
